Prototype Sleepaway Camp Artwork Found

The famous knife in the shoe, as it turns out, wasn’t the only artwork created for Sleepaway Camp as you can see from this prototypical poster painting from artist David Schleinkofer. Also check out the full textless “naked” original painting that did end up becoming the poster we know and love. Props to SC Addict for bringing this to our attention.

    1. They are the ghosts of inenoncceThat have awoken from my dreamsWelcome to your nightmareSay good-bye to everythingAll your past obscenitiesThey have determined where I standEchoing cries, in the time that it beganHear me nowFeel my bladeThere is no more time for apologiesMalevolent emotionsTake hold of meAre you ready to begin your trip to the other side?Death is an old friend of mineYou can’t escape your judgmentI hear them calling out your nameDo not beg for mercy nowYou never showed any to themEmbrace your final punishmentThere’s not a soul to hear you screamI have to thank you for letting out the animal in meHear me nowFeel my bladeThere is no more time for apologiesMalevolent emotionsTake hold of meAre you ready to begin your trip to the other side?Death is an old friend of mineThe blood became my lifeWhen I was trapped insideAnd I can feel the dark passenger calling meMy mother’s blood and mineUniquely intertwinedHelp me father purge the memory from my mindMy hunger to destroyWhen I was just a boyIt pulled me deeper into something that I now enjoyThe ritual beginsEvil will meet its endIn your destruction I will finally feel whole againThere is no more time for apologiesMalevolent emotionsTake hold of meAre you ready to begin your trip to the other side?Death is an old friend of mineI have become your nightmareSay good-bye to every thing
