On-Set Photos: Sleepaway Camp Spoof

Have you rented or purchased Caesar & Otto’s Summer Camp Massacre yet? It’s required viewing for Sleepaway Camp fans. Littered with numerous references and similarities, it functions as a satire of the series with Felissa Rose essentially playing up a grown-up version of the teenage Angela we fell in love with.

To list a few other points, there’s a lair reminiscent of the “abandoned cabin” from part two, plus the humor of the sequels amped up to slapstick max. And did we mention Joe Estevez has a role, who’s not only cool but the uncle of Renee Estevez (Molly)? Even lovable Aunt Martha herself, Desiree Gould, stars in a short sequel featured on the DVD, Caesar & Otto Meet Dracula’s Lawyer.

Billed as “the original Angela returns to summer camp”, even the cover pays homage, being a comedic replication of the original Sleepaway Camp poster!
